July Workshop Project!

Ladies,
July's workshop project will be 10 layouts using the Footloose papers.  The layouts are designed so that they can also be used a a stand alone album.  This workshop was designed by fellow consultant  .Tresa Black.  We'll be working on this project on July 27.  Your kit will come with an 11-page full color instructional brochure, detailed enough that you can do this project on your own, so if you like the project but can't make it on July 27, let me know!

The pictures don't do the pages justice, but it's an awesome set of pages!  So fun!

May/June Mini Crops!

Hello Everyone!

Our May Mini Crop is scheduled for May 25th! Come on out and catch up on your scrapping or card making, or just enjoy some time with the girls! It might be your last chance for a break before school is out! We've got lots of room, great lighting, and a friendly atmosphere. We've got 2 cricuts, and 60 cartridges, tools, supplies, idea books, etc. all for your use!

We just ask $5 and a snack or drink to share! The Mini runs from 6 PM till at least 11 PM.
It's held at the church, 716 Main St., Lumberton.

Our June Mini is scheduled for June 22! Hope to see lots of you!

Lighthouse Scrappers Sweep Creative Awards at March 2012 Croppin' For a Cause!

Carol, Colleen and I went to East Waterford, PA on Palm Sunday weekend for a 3 day crop.  We've been going twice a year for 3 or 4 years now, and it's always a lot of fun!  There's contests, prizes, games, quarter auctions, etc!  We were quite the lucky bunch this time around!  Between the 3 of us, we won all of Jeni's creative awards, voted on by fellow scrappers!

Colleen won for Best Name Tag with the Wild West Theme of the weekend!

Lighthouse Scrappers Spring Crop Update!

Well, less than 3 weeks to go, so I just wanted to drop you a note with some reminders!

We're doing something a little different with our free crop drawing again this time. Since the Crop is benefitting Speed The Light (STL), we decided to help out the Missionaries personally as well. When Missionaries go overseas, they sell everything they own, give up all their worldly possesions to enter Missions. Sometimes entire families embark on this journey! They also have to come home on a set schedule, and when they do, they have to find temporary housing, and they are traveling with basically their clothing. So several times a year, we collect things for them, like gift cards to purchase linens and other household items, and we also collect toiletries.
So, that being said, we are collecting toiletries for the Missionaries and we're asking for your help! All you need to do for one (1) entry into the drawing for a free crop is bring one of the items listed below, or in lieu of that, a $2 cash donation towards the same items, and you'll be entered into the drawing! My Peeps Easter Milk Carton

These cute milk cartons were totally lifted from Gina Brandstetter.

I used the new CTMH Milk Cartons, the My Peeps Stamp Set,

B&T duos paper from the Lucy Paper Packet, Cotton Candy CS,

Sweetleaf Stiched Grosgrain bulk ribbon, Sweetleaf, Pear, Blush,

 Cotton Candy, and Creme Brulee inks, and a blending pen!

Spring Wreath with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge

This was inspired by Lisa Stenz!

I used the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge, available HERE.

Amethyst, Vanilla Cream, and Blush CS roses were cut at 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 inches.

I attached the roses with pearl straight pins, added some ribbon, and that was it!

May/June Mini Crops

Hello Everyone!

Due to the busy Holiday schedules in November and December, we'll be combining the Mini Crops into one date. December 2nd will be our Nov/Dec Mini!

Come on out and finish up those Christmas cards, or just get some scrapping done! It might be your last chance for a break till January! We've got lots of room, great lighting, and a friendly atmosphere. We've got a Cricut (maybe 2 by then!) more than 50 cartridges, tools, supplies, idea books, etc. all for your use!

We just ask $5 and a snack or drink to share! The Mini runs from 6 PM till at least 11 PM.
It's held at the church, 716 Main St., Lumberton. For this meeting, we'll be in the classroom in the back hallway (also known as the Dining Room at our Day Crops!).

If you are arriving after 7 PM (which is fine!), keep this cell number handy as we sometimes lock the front doors--609-760-3841--Karen's Cell.

Oh, and we've set the date for our next 12 Hour Crop! APRIL 21, 2012, will be our next Day Crop. Save the date!!

November 12, 2011 from 10 AM to 10 PM.

The crop benefits Movement with a Message Dance/Drama Team, whose mission is to reach the Lost thru Music, Movement, and Drama

The $40 fee will include:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Drinks & Snacks all day, and Chocolate!

The crop will be held in the all purpose room, no stairs or ramps and not far from the Door! We have a cart to move your supplies from the car to the room and the praise dance team girls will be there to help you! In case of bad weather the unloading area is completely covered so you and your supplies will stay completely dry!
